The prototype for this model is the M-K-T (Katy) Railroad’s 781-795 caboose. The floor and frame are laser-cut wood and Styrene with cast resin platform steps, the rest is Custom Laser-Scribed and Laser-Cut bass and plywood. Innovative engineering and the precise fit that is a trademark of our products is amply used in this kit. Tab and slot construction, and incredibly designed cupola, and Peel & Stick windows make this kit a breeze to build.....and the results have been judged to look “as good as brass”! (Couplers, trucks, end ladders, and decals not included. Paint and glue required for assembly.).
